What Makes Roofing in SouthPark Different

SouthPark is unlike anywhere else in Charlotte. Built on the 3,000-acre former farm of Governor Cameron Morrison, this is the city's premier residential and business district โ€” a mix of mid-century ranches, executive estates, and gated luxury enclaves. The roofs here are more architecturally complex, more visible, and more expensive to replace correctly than almost anywhere else in the metro.

SouthPark sits about six miles south of Uptown Charlotte, geographically centered at the intersection of Fairview Road and Sharon Road. The neighborhood was originally part of a 3,000-acre farm owned by former North Carolina Governor Cameron Morrison, which extended from Cotswold all the way to Quail Hollow. The landmark SouthPark Mall opened in 1970 โ€” anchored at the time by the Belk and Ivey's department stores โ€” and over the next half-century, the surrounding neighborhood developed into Charlotte's second-largest business district (over 40,000 daytime workers) and one of its most prestigious residential addresses. Today's SouthPark spans 28210, 28211, and 28226, with about 18,000 residents, the historic Morrocroft Mansion still standing on its original site, and several of the city's most desirable subdivisions all within a two-mile radius of the mall.

SouthPark's Three Roofing Worlds
